Multiple vehicles crash on C5-Ortigas flyover

Multiple vehicles crashed into each other on the C5-Ortigas flyover in Pasig City Tuesday morning.

At least five were injured in the collision that involved trucks, cars, and motorcycles.The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) first reported a collision of more or less 10 vehicles at around 10:45 a.m., causing the closure of northbound lanes. 

The lanes were cleared as of 1:15 p.m.

MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago said a truck lost its brakes, crashing into cars on the northbound lane, including a Toyota Fortuner which was pushed to the southbound road. "Umabot po ng 19 na sasakyan yung involved (The number of vehicles involved reached 19)," she said.
