‘Haunted Doll’ Accused of attacking its Owners

While doing the interview on live tv, the doll does something that made my hair stand on end!

50-year-old Debbie Merrick hated dolls. But she was strangely attracted to one doll from a charity second-hand shop and decided to purchase it for £5. The doll, which was part of a set-of-three, had a necklace tied around her neck. She took the doll home—and things started to go creepy from there.

Debbie, from Kings Lynn, Norfolk, said: “I don’t know why I decided to buy the dolls. It was a bit strange, but at the time I didn’t think much about it. Even that’s unusual.

“They were really cheap, they were only £5 I think, and I thought they would probably be worth quite a bit of money.

“It’s really just the one doll with the white dress I don’t like. I didn’t particularly even like touching that one when I bought it. The other two I don’t mind as much.”

Debbie and her husband Cameron experienced terrifying things that had no explanation as to why they happened. A week after the doll’s arrival, Cameron woke up to tiny scratches on his legs. They were sore and were obviously made by something small. It resembled cat scratches—but they don’t have any animals at home.

Debbie also claims she would hear someone walking outside their room as the floor would creak, but when she looks outside, everything falls silent and nobody or nothing can be seen out of the ordinary. When a medium friend warned her that the doll she had purchased had ‘something in it’ later that weekend, Debbie says she put two and two together—and fearfully bundled it into a box in the shed.

Debbie added: “The smoke alarms keep going off, and one night I heard the floorboards creaking and thought it might have been my daughter Holly up, but when I checked on her she was asleep.”

She put the doll inside a plastic box, covered it up, and put another box on top of it. However, when she went to check it a few days later, the doll’s necklace, which Debbie claims has been tied five to six times around its neck—was already loose and wasn’t in the right place.

Totally horrified by the series of ‘paranormal activities’, Debbie decided to sell the doll on eBay for £25. All she wanted to do was to get rid of it once and for all. However, she did warn potential buyers that the doll wasn’t normal and was probably haunted. She listed the doll as a ‘Creepy Doll’.

Fortunately for Debbie and Cameron, the doll has been sold to the owner of a paranormal magazine for £866 (over $1,000).
