Serena Williams withdraws from Indian Wells and Miami due to knee injury

“Sadly, I have to withdraw from the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and the Miami Open,” Williams said in a statement issued by tournament officials. “I have not been able to train due to my knees and am disappointed I cannot be there. I will keep moving forward and continue to be positive. I look forward to being back as soon as I can.”

 Based on the sport’s points system, Kerber will be No. 1 in the next rankings, which will be issued on March 20.

Miss World Philippines pageant is scheduled to be held in September this year. Did you know that she used to play touch rugby and softball when she was younger? Laura even represented the country at a World Series tournament where the Philippines placed second to the US. Talent manager Arnold Vegafria is the new franchise owner of Miss World Philippines.
